The horrific news of the bones and skin of a dog found in the garbage bin in a nearby colony made a lot of readers gag. It is something to be taken up by the authorities. A  community dog (stray) is a common sight in Bangalore. In some places it is stoned while in some it is well looked after. This particular stray was a favourite of that street and the residents are alarmed that such a thing has happened. It would do well if the matter is followed up.
