Ingredients
1/2cup basmati rice
1litre milk
1cupsugar
2-3 cardamoms
Method
Take a clean cooker , one in which non-veg has not been prepared, otherwise the payasam will curdle.
You can either cook the payasam in a cylindrical dabba with a lid or in the cooker itself depending upon your cooker size.
Put in all the ingredients ,stir well and let it boil on high heat and two whistles. Then let it simmer for 5-8-10 minutes.You will be surprised at the pink ambala puzha type payasam that u get! happy drinking.
